Missionary Disciples

We sisters of St.Joseph of Cluny mark our presence, as missionary disciples, in the peripheries that need our touch, the boundaries that need to be crossed, the part of creation that need our healing, representing the cries of the world that need our prophetic voice.

We dare to go everywhere there is good to be done, as true daughters of Bl. Anne Marie Javouhey, to live her charism and give expression to the mission of Christ as true “Missionary disciple for a new World.”

Our Ministries

We live in a complex and ever changing world, marred by ever increasing marginalization and impoverishment, gender discrimination, large scale migration and internal displacement and ecological degradation. Many natural and man-made disasters have rocked humanity making life difficult for those who live. In the midst of these alarming situation that we are called to live the life of service imparting the values of the kingdom in and through our life and service. In a world that is so alien to the Spirit of the Gospel, we are called to live our consecrated life.

“I am happy to be wherever there is suffering to be alleviated” (AMJ letter 63)

Respond To Call

A call to religious life is a call to follow Jesus: poor, chaste and obedient. And so, besides this attraction to the person of Jesus, someone who is called to religious life might also have the deep desire to observe the evangelical counsels as a commandment.
